Includes understanding strategic enterprise data needs, developing and maintaining the Data Strategy, establishing data management organizations, establishing roles and responsibilities, and establishing data policies and standards around the creation, capture, management, and disposal of government data and information. Also includes the ability to coordinate data governance activities, manage and resolve data related issues, monitor and ensure regulatory compliance, and monitor and enforce conformance with data policies, standards and architecture.
